CenterLink - A member-based coalition that supports the development of strong, sustainable LGBT community centers. It serves more than 200 centers across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, China, Cameroon, and Australia.

Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals - Aims to achieve higher education environments in which LGBT students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni have equity in every respect. The organization's goals are to support colleagues and develop curriculum to professionally enhance this work; seek climate improvement on campuses; and more.

Families Like Mine - Site for children of LGBT parents.

Family Equality Council - Works to ensure equality for LGBT families by building community, changing hearts and minds, and advancing social justice for all families.

FTM International - Female to male transgender site that includes books, news, etc.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) National Youth Talkline (serving youth through age 25):
(800) 246-7743. Provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Offers private, volunteer one-to-one phone and online chat, that helps both youth and adults with coming-out issues, safer-sex information, school bullying, family concerns, relationship problems and more.

Gender Spectrum - Site to help create gender sensitive and inclusive environments for children and teens, owned and operated by Therapist Stephanie Brill. The organization provides consultation, training, and events designed to help families, educators, professionals, and organizations understand and address the concepts of gender identity and expression.

GLAAD - As a dynamic media force, GLAAD tackles tough issues to shape the narrative for LGBT acceptance and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change. GLAAD protects all that has been accomplished and creates a world where everyone can live the life they love.

It Gets Better Project - Aims to communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make life better for them. The project has become a worldwide movement, inspiring over 50,000 videos viewed more than 50 million times, and receiving submissions from celebrities, organizations, activists, politicians and media personalities.

The LGBTQ Task Force - Advances freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQ people, in housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights. The Task Force is training and mobilizing millions of activists across our nation.

Mermaids - UK-based group of parents brought together through their children's gender identity issues, with the aim to support each other and their children -- as well as other families and children in similar situations. The organization helps support, educate, and alleviate suffering across the UK and internationally.

PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) - The nation's largest family and ally organization, uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies.

PFLAG Transgender Network - Support organization specifically for transgender people, their families, and friends. Special Affiliate chapter of PFLAG.

Safe Schools Coalition - A public-private partnership based in Washington State, working to help schools become safe places where every family can belong, where every educator can teach, and where every child can learn, regardless of gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

TransFamily of Cleveland - Family support site that offers a newsletter and email discussion lists for couples, spouses, parents, and youth. Hundreds of members from all over the world belong.

Transgender Law Center - Works to change law, policy, and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression.

Transgender Law and Policy Institute - Transgender legal affairs activist site that offers weekly announcements of changes in state or federal laws affecting trans people. Includes searchable database on college and employer transgender policies, and hate crime laws.

TransYouth Family Allies - Empowers children and families by partnering with educators, service providers, and communities, to develop supportive environments in which gender may be expressed and respected. Founded in 2006, TYFA has helped thousands of families and their children through education, outreach, and support.

YouthResource - Website created by and for LGBTQ young people. It takes a holistic approach to sexual health and exploring issues of concern to this group, by providing information and support on sexual and reproductive health issues through education and advocacy.

Atlanta
The Phillip Rush Center - A shared office space for LGBTQ organizations and a regular meeting place for various community organizations. Activities include parenting and coming out workshops, sensitivity training for social service providers who work with transgender individuals, public health fairs, and more.

Boston
Boston Alliance of Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Youth - A youth-led, adult supported social support organization committed to social justice, and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ youth community.

Burlington, VT
Outright Vermont - A youth center and statewide advocacy organization that aims to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for LGBTQ youth ages 13-22. Outright's goal is to make Vermont the safest, most supportive, and empowering state for queer youth in the U.S.

Chicago
Center on Halsted - The Midwest's most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the LGBTQ people of Chicago. Each day, more than 1,000 community members visit the center, located in Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood.
Affinity Community Services - A social justice organization that works with and on behalf of Black LGBTQ communities, queer youth, and allies to identify emergent needs, create safe spaces, develop leaders, and bridge communities through collective analysis and action for social justice, freedom, and human rights.

Dallas
Resource Center Dallas - A trusted leader that empowers the LGBTQ communities and all people affected by HIV through improving health and wellness, strengthening families and communities, and providing education and advocacy.

Los Angeles
Los Angeles LGBT Center - Founded in 1969, the center's more than 450 employees and 3,000 volunteers provide services for more LGBTQ people than any other organization in the world through programs that span health, social services and housing, culture and education, and leadership and advocacy.

New York City
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center - The Center fosters a welcoming environment where everyone is celebrated for who they are, offering the LGBTQ communities of NYC health and wellness programs; arts, entertainment and cultural events; recovery, wellness, parenthood, and family support services.

San Francisco
The San Francisco LGBT Community Center - Connects the LGBTQ community to resources and each other to achieve its vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBTQ people and allies. Free services include career counseling, job fairs, computer lab, social activities, mentorships, youth meals, daycare, and more.

San Jose/Peninsula
LGBT Youth Space - A community drop-in center and mental health program for LGBTQ youth and young adults, and allies, ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County.
Outlet - Empowers LGBTQ youth in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, building safe and accepting communities through support, education, and advocacy. Outlet is youth-centered and its program staff provides a safe environment that is confidential, inclusive, and non-judgmental.

PFLAG San Jose/Peninsula - Promotes the health and well-being of LGBTQ persons, their families and friends through: support, education, and advocacy.
